How much does ApptSecure cost?+
ApptSecure starts at $29/month for our Starter plan (up to 500 SMS/month), $79/month for Pro (2,000 SMS/month + 2-way texting), and $199/month for Business (10,000 SMS/month + priority support). All plans include a free 14-day trial and no setup fees. Overages are billed at $0.02 per SMS.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every plan includes a full-featured 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. You can send up to 100 real SMS messages during the trial to test the system with your actual customers.
Is ApptSecure TCPA compliant?+
Yes. ApptSecure enforces TCPA-compliant opt-in collection, automatic STOP/HELP keyword handling, quiet-hours protection (no messages between 9pm-8am local time by default), and a full consent audit trail on every customer record. We are A2P 10DLC registered with Twilio and all outbound messages originate from carrier-approved campaigns.
How long does setup take?+
Most businesses are sending their first reminder within 15 minutes. Setup involves three steps: (1) create your account and verify your business name, (2) import customers via CSV or connect your existing CRM, and (3) customize your reminder template. We handle the carrier registration for you in the background.
Which CRMs and scheduling tools does ApptSecure integrate with?+
ApptSecure offers native CSV import, Zapier integration (700+ apps), and direct API access. We are actively building native integrations with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Vagaro, Mindbody, Acuity Scheduling, and Square Appointments. If your tool is not listed, CSV import or a 5-minute Zapier flow will cover 99% of use cases.
Does ApptSecure support 2-way texting?+
Yes, on the Pro plan and above. Customers can reply to reminders to confirm, cancel, reschedule, or ask questions. All replies are routed to your ApptSecure inbox with full conversation history, and you can reply directly from the web dashboard or mobile app.
Can I customize the reminder messages?+
Fully. You can customize the message text, timing (e.g., 24 hours before, 2 hours before, or both), and per-service-type templates. Merge tags like {{customer_name}}, {{appointment_date}}, {{appointment_time}}, {{business_name}}, and {{service_type}} are supported.
What happens if a customer replies STOP?+
They are immediately unsubscribed from all future messages — this is enforced automatically by ApptSecure and Twilio per TCPA/CTIA rules. The unsubscribe is logged to the customer record and surfaced in your dashboard. HELP replies trigger an automated help response with your business contact info.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Month-to-month plans can be cancelled anytime from your billing page — you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Annual plans (which save 20%) are pro-rated on cancellation. No cancellation fees, no long-term contracts.

ApptSecure is used by dental practices, medical offices, veterinary clinics, salons and barbershops, spas, massage therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, auto repair shops, tax preparers, and any service business that books appointments.
Do you store customer phone numbers securely?+
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are SOC 2 Type II aligned (certification in progress), run in US-based data centers, and never sell or share your customer data. You can export or permanently delete all customer data at any time.
Can I use my own phone number?+
Yes. During onboarding you can either (a) receive a new dedicated 10DLC number from us, or (b) port your existing business number into the platform. Porting typically takes 5-7 business days and has no cost.
How do you prevent no-shows?+
Automated reminders at strategic intervals (typically 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment) reduce no-shows by 60-80% on average. Two-way texting lets customers confirm or reschedule without calling, which removes the friction that causes most silent no-shows. Our analytics dashboard shows your no-show rate week over week.
Is ApptSecure HIPAA compliant?+
ApptSecure is built to support HIPAA-aligned workflows for medical and dental practices. We offer a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on the Business plan. Message templates are designed to avoid transmitting PHI by default — we recommend never including diagnoses, treatment details, or medications in SMS content.
What kind of support do you offer?+
Starter: email support, typically under 12 hours response. Pro: email + chat, under 4 hours. Business: priority email, chat, and phone support, under 1 hour response during business hours (9am-6pm ET, Mon-Fri). All plans include access to our help center and video walkthroughs.
